"From the living fountain of instinct flows everything that is creative; hence the unconscious is not merely conditioned by history, but is the very source of the creative impulse." ~ CG Jung

First Interview
So... on either Monday or Tuesday, I applied for a job at Barnes & Noble in Newington, NH, and today I had an interview. I think it went pretty well; I answered all of her "how do you handle problems with co-worker" questions without stuttering and whatnot, so... we'll see. The manager seemed pretty nice, a little everywhere, but nice. She said that she'd probably put me in the children's section, which is pretty cool. I love children's books and still read young adult novels from time to time. Anyway, it was nice to be called for an interview. For the past several months (while still in Texas) I've been applying for positions here in New Hampshire and haven't even had an email or call showing interest. I hope that this is a turn around for my chances at finding a job. The pay isn't great at B&N, but the employee benefits are nice: 20% off music and DVDs, 30% off books, and 50% off drinks from Starbucks. I like the 30% off books deal. That's nice.

The children's section should be fun. I still love children's and young adult lit. Have you are the Book Thief? I just bought it but I've heard good things.

Wow, I should really proof read before I comment on things.

I haven't read that one yet. I think the next one I'm going to read is His Dark Materials or maybe the Chronicles of Narnia... we'll see.
Barnes and Nobles!! That would be awesome!!! Although I might be more excited about the Starbucks discount if it were me.
You better not spend all your money there ;-)
