I can't make myself SIT and WRITE, and I can't even remember how that feels. I started something last night, let's see if I can keep going with it.

And also, I've been reading YA too! Different than you, I finished "Speak" finally, which everyone has been talking about for ages but I just picked up. Finally read an E. Lockhart, and just finished a Sarah Dessen, which I think is "literary" moreso than teen too, and I related to it a LOT. Funny how YA books can be like that.

Can't wait to leave these humid Southern summers behind! VA (my MFA program) is still warmer than NH, but it's close to 20 degrees cooler than here! Anything will be better than this swamp.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299583108770114866.post-38412196146907728912009-06-23T17:30:21.797-04:002009-06-23T17:30:21.797-04:00I've read Melina Marchetta's other novels ...I've read Melina Marchetta's other novels (Looking for Alibrandi and Saving Francesca) and I loved them, but I never got around to picking up Jellicoe Road. Let me know how it turns out because I'm also curious.Carahttp://cmotts.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
